Before measuring the workpiece, it is necessary to calibrate the accuracy of the measuring instrument. The distance between the two measuring heads should be adjusted within the measurement range of the corresponding workpiece by manually controlling the measuring head control handle. The force measuring head adjustment handle should be manually moved to place the workpiece between the two measuring heads. Release the handle to make the measuring head contact the measured surface, reset or preset the display data, and complete the calibration.
The calibration process:
1. Select a suitable cross ball distance measuring head based on the size of the standard gear being tested, and install the measuring head using a specialized tool. Manually adjust the control handle of the left measuring head → tighten the knob → place the standard gear → tighten the bolt to fix the left measuring head. Because the right measuring head is automatically adjusted, the current state is that the standard part has already made contact with two measuring heads. Adjust the position of the standard part → zero the meter to complete calibration.

Remove the standard part and place the measured workpiece on the measuring platform using the same method as described above. After the measuring head contacts the measured surface, the display can show the measurement data of the workpiece or the difference with the standard part, completing the measurement.
